This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Take a hike on the Killpecker Trail; Beaver Meadows Resort Ranch is a good campground here. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Fox Acres Country Club; of course Beartrap Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth visiting. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Lake Erie is right       by the North Lone Pine Trail, and you can stay the night at Bellaire Lake Campground. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Lake Erie. Get covered with water paddling on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork, and perhaps you're looking for close by lakes? Sure, Lone Pine Reservoir is just a very short distance away. Paddling on Cache La Poudre River is so much fun, and a fine close by hotel is Peak To Peak Lodge Inc.. Around Lake Erie you don’t                  get a lot of rain; during July this area sees the most rain; January meanwhile is the driest month. So much fun stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains, not sufficient time. The Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail offers hiking at its best, and there's some attention-grabbing stuff to catch a sight of at Erie Lake Dam near Lake Erie. This lake is so wonderful.
