The beauty of Lake Erie is reason enough to stop by. Around Lake Erie you don’t get a lot of rainfall; July is the wettest month with most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is splendid on Cache La Poudre River - North Fork, and going for a hike on the Swamp Creek Cutoff Trail is always a wonderful adventure. This lake is located in the wonderful Medicine Bow Mountains. Summertime highs at Lake Erie generally tend to be in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs all through the wintertime are typically in the 30's, and overnight lows through the winter for Lake Erie tend to be in the 0's. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Medicine Bow Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Cache La Poudre River, and Bellaire Lake
Campground is a magnificent campground nearby. All the outdoors cool things in the Medicine Bow Mountains will keep you coming back time and again. If you're here at Lake Erie and you like golf, you can go to Fox Acres Country Club,
and you're perhaps keen on lakes, Pocahontas Lake is one of those close by. After a long day outdoors Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a delightful location to spend a night or two, and the scenery at Erie Lake Dam is gorgeous.
I can't
stop, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Lake Erie. Lakes are glorious; Bellaire Lake is a lake that's in close proximity to Lake Erie, and you can go for a hike on the Killpecker Trail.
