This lake is so wonderful. Boulder Creek - South is a glorious whitewater spot near Erie Lake, and you'll probably meet some folks from Boulder here.
Summer brings highs in the 80's to Erie Lake with night lows in the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; through the dark hours in the winter at Erie Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. A brilliant
place for whitewater paddling in close proximity to Erie Lake is Boulder Creek.
The Saddle Rock Trail is a perfect hiking trail in the neighborhood of Erie Lake; if you've had enough of Erie Lake, Waneka Reservoir is nearby.
