Enochs Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Good hiking is available along the Ute Canal Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Grand Junction, Co. Going for a hike on the Gill Creek Trail is always a good adventure, and not far from Enochs Lake you'll discover Fruita Reservoir Number 1 which is a stunning lake. Enochs Lake is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains.

And if that's not enough there's a load more amusing things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. There's so much to do here at Enochs Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hay Press Campground
is a good place for that, and let's not forget Johnson Creek which is a stream that you may stumble upon while you're here. This lake is so wonderful. Colorado National Monument is a delightful place near Enochs Lake, and Rodeway
Inn Grand Junction is a nice spot to get some rest.
For the period of the warm months, highs usually are in the 90's at Enochs Lake. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 10's to Enochs Lake. At Enochs Lake you don’t see much rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is commonly the driest month.
