There's so much to do here at Enochs Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Divide Forks Campground is a great site for that; soar down the rapids of Colorado River in a kayak. If you get bored of Enochs Lake, you could also visit nearby Mirror Lake Number 1 Reservoir, and you'll meet a lot of people from Grand Junction here. This lake is so wonderful. You'll       need more than a day to explore everything Enochs Lake has to offer, you can camp at Hay Press Campground, and Colorado National Monument is one of the destinations that are wonderful to visit close by. Not sufficient hours in a day to enjoy this site. Enochs Lake is not the only site close by, Gobbo Reservoir Number 3 is a close by lake; do visit Aubert Dam since you're here. Having a wonderful time in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains is easy. Getting to                  Johnson Creek from Enochs Lake is painless; there are splendid spots to look at along the Gill Creek Trail. Don't leave Enochs Lake without first going for a hike along the Ute Canal Trail, and Hampton Inn Grand Junction is a fine site to get some rest. It is very dried out here at Enochs Lake ordinarily; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. But wait, there's more enjoyable things to do in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. If you need a place to stay Rodeway Inn Grand Junction is a glorious choice, and you can go for a hike on the Cabin Trail. High temperatures at Enochs Lake through the summertime months are in the 90's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's.
