A nice location to camp here at Empire Reservoir is Wayward wind Mobile Home Park; Empire Reservoir is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Jackson Lake is a tremendous local campground. West Nile Reservoir is a perfect lake right next door to Empire       Reservoir, and there are plenty of folks from Fort Morgan here at Empire Reservoir. At Empire Reservoir you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month of the year is February. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Empire Reservoir. For the period of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 50's.
