Ball Mountain is simple to spot from Empire Reservoir, and not far from Empire Reservoir you'll discover Conley Lakes which is a delightful lake. This lake is so wonderful. There is a delightful hiking trail near Empire Reservoir called the Tumble Creek Trail, and glorious skiing awaits you at Ski Cooper.       Empire Reservoir is a location that is rather waterless generally; the month with most of the rain is August while October is regularly the driest month. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the entertaining things at Empire Reservoir. Empire Reservoir is in the vicinity of Black Cloud Tailing Pond Dam which is a pretty spot definitely worth checking out; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Black                  Cloud Tailings Pond. If you came to camp Four Mile Campground is a good site to do that; Arkansas River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby. Copper Mountain has fine slopes and a friendly staff. This lake is so wonderful. On a tremendous day at Empire Reservoir you can take a hike along the Limber Grove Trail; if you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Arkansas River. Silver King Inn is a nice place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Empire Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Leadville Rv Corral is a great place for that. Through the warm days of summer at Empire Reservoir temperatures are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 30's.
