Go to Lake Emma if you want to go to a nice lake. I can't stop, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Lake Emma. Lakes are such calm locations, why not check out Lake Como near Lake Emma; Alaska Basin is a brilliant location. This lake is so wonderful. Very pretty scenery and perfect skiing is what you get at Kendall Mountain, and camping at Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is always a great experience. Now, you may think that's loads but there's even

| | more enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Juan Mountains. If the weather is magnificent here at Lake Emma, you can go for a hike along the Horsethief Trail, and there are some great whitewater spots on Mineral Creek - South.
A tremendous spot in the neighborhood of Lake Emma is Parron Gulch, and going for a hike along the Greyhound Pack Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. What would winter be without | |

some skiing at Silverton, and Comfort Inn Ouray is a brilliant site to get some rest. The warmest time of the year at Lake Emma arrives with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. High temperatures through the
winter are normally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Lake Emma are in the 10's.
If you came to camp Silverton Lakes Campground is a splendid location to do that. Lake Emma is pretty dry ordinarily; most of the rain
falls throughout August while June is typically the driest month. Whohoo, so much cool stuff in one place! The San Juan Mountains is great! Have a good hiking adventure along the Bear Creek Trail; from Lake Emma you get a delightful
panorama of Bonita Peak.
A pleasant nearby hotel is Best Western Twin Peaks Motel, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Lime Creek. Lake Emma is one of the lakes here in the San Juan Mountains.
