You'll need more than a day to look at everything Lake Emma has to offer, you can camp at Kite Lake Campground. All through the days of summer here at Lake Emma, high temperatures frequently reach the 60's while overnight lows are regularly in the 30's. It is very waterless here at Lake Emma typically; July is the wettest month with most rain; the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. The panorama of pretty Mount Buckskin near Lake Emma is
splendid; if you come at the right time of year, Arkansas River offers some good whitewater. Soar down the rapids of Arkansas River in a kayak. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Lake Emma. Everybody
nearby loves skiing at Copper Mountain; sites like Red Amphitheatre are fine to stop at.
There are other places here than Lake Emma, for example Kite Lake; the Wheeler Trail offers hiking at its best.
