You'll need more than a day to discover everything Emerald Lake has to offer, you can camp at Skyline Campground; you can have a splendid hiking adventure along the Camp Lake Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Twin Lakes, and Peak To Peak Lodge Inc. is a delightful place to get some rest. At Emerald Lake you don’t see much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually       May, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is January. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing stuff in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Half Mile Creek is a stream that you may encounter while here, and you can run the rapids of Joe Wright Creek. This place, Emerald Lake, it absolutely has so much outdoors enjoyable stuff. Cache La Poudre River is a tremendous whitewater spot right next door to Emerald Lake, and Emerald Lake is right                  by the Green Ridge Trail. All year is a splendid time in the Medicine Bow Mountains if you have a thing about the outdoors. Emerald Lake is a great place to visit for more than one day, Tunnel Campground is a great place to camp nearby, and don’t forget to stop by Liebey Park while you're here at Emerald Lake. All through the months of summer at Emerald Lake temperatures are generally in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 30's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Emerald Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes? Sure, Laramie Lake is nearby, and do take a hike on the Lower Nunn Creek Trail.
