All through the summer months highs here at Elmwood Reservoir reach the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are typically in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Elmwood Reservoir all through the winter ordinarily descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're       here at Elmwood Reservoir you can play some golf at Indian Peaks Golf Course, and Elmwood Reservoir is a spot with many visitors from Boulder. Soar down the rapids of Boulder Creek in a kayak, and close by you stumble on the Mesa Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail. There are wonderful sites to explore along the Green Mountain Trail. Elmwood Reservoir gets very little precipitation; of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, and                  January on the other hand is the driest.
