This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Little Lost Lake; on a great day you can take a hike along the Divide Trail. What would winter be without some skiing at Howelsen Hill, and Long Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out. And that's not all you can do here at Lake Elmo. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Elmo has       to offer, you can camp at Granite Campground. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. Don't forget to take a wonderful little journey to Butcherknife Creek, and this is a popular site for people from Edwards. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors cool stuff the area near Lake Elmo has to offer. Paddling on Elk River is so much fun; there is a great hiking trail close by called the Fish Creek Falls Trail. Lake Elmo is a beautiful lake in the Park Range.                  Lake Elmo is regularly a reasonably waterless spot; December is when you get the most snow here, and August on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not sufficient there's lots more enjoyable things to do in the Park Range. Lakes? Sure, Round Lake is close at hand; the Percy Lake Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. Get wet paddling on Elk River, and Winterwood Townhomes is a glorious location to get some rest. After a long day outdoors Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a great place to spend a night or two, and enjoy a round of golf at Haymaker Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. Gotta ski! Steamboat is a glorious place to do that; you can stay the night at Base Campground. For the duration of the warm months at Lake Elmo highs are commonly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's.
