Gunnison River has a great whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you're here       you can take a hike along the Monument Trail. This lake is so wonderful. From Ellington Reservoir you acquire a great view of Green Mountain, and going for a hike along the East Leon Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a brilliant site to spend a night or two, and hiking along the Green Mountain Trail is pleasant fun.
