Camping is available at Twin Lake Campground; you can go for a hike on the Monument Trail. And that's not all you can do here at Ellington Reservoir. Whitewater paddling is tremendous on Gunnison River, and do stop at Bailey Reservoir, it's a scenic lake. Ellington Reservoir is pretty waterless regularly; March is the month that gets the most rain, and June is when it's the driest. Dry       warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Delta. Howard Johnson Express - Cedaredge is a perfect spot to get some rest, and the summit of Green Mountain can be seen from Ellington Reservoir. For the period of the warm months, highs usually are in the 80's at Ellington Reservoir. During the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 50's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Ellington Reservoir.                  A nice spot to camp here at Ellington Reservoir is Weir and Johnson Campground; going for a hike on the Green Mountain Trail is always a brilliant adventure. This lake is so wonderful.
