In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio Grande. Lakes are pleasant; Divide Lakes is a lake that's near Elk Lake. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a delightful time. If you came for an overnight stay Thirtymile Campground is a great place to camp, and Vallecito       Creek is a fine whitewater spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Camping is available at Lost Trail Campground, and of course, this is a brilliant vicinity for people who like lakes, Blue Lake is a lake in close proximity. If you want a fine time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Elk Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Elk Lake; Fern Creek Stock Driveway is a nice local trail; the skiing at Silverton is delightful. Elk Lake is a good                  site of typical precipitation; August is when you get the most rain here; June meanwhile is the driest month. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Devil Mountain Trail, and a pleasant place close by is Canon Paso. Take a hike on the Whitehead Trail, and Mesa Lato is a peak you can make out from Elk Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Elk Lake is located in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Summertime at Elk Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 30's.
