Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is located in the wonderful San Juan and Jemez Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Haney Canyon is a fine spot to spend some time at, and if you need a spot to stay The Spruce Lodge is a fine choice.
Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir is a wet place that gets a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most snow; the driest month is June.

| | This is no spot for people who don’t like to have a good time. Take a hike on the Wolf Creek Stock Driveway, and don't forget to take a pleasant little trip to Elk Creek. Now, you may feel that's a load but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. If you come at the right time of year, Rio Grande offers some glorious whitewater; Grandview Cabins is a nice campground nearby.

whitewater spots on Wolf Creek; you can have a good hiking adventure along the Highline Trail. After a long day outdoors Allington Inn and Suites is a great location to spend a night or two, and Aspen Ridge Cabins and RV Park is a
good local campground. Summer at Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir comes with high temperatures in the 60's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's; overnight
lows all through the wintertime for Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir tend to be in the 0's.
Whohoo, so much amusing stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains rules! Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir is right by the Lake Fork National Recreation Trail, and the summit of Sentinel Peak can be made out from Elk Creek Number 1 Reservoir.
