The Brooklyn Trail is a delightful hiking trail close to Eldorado Lake, and you can stay the night at Silverton Lakes Campground. If you need a place to stay Purgatory Village Condominium Hotel is a good choice, and Eldorado Lake is not the only place nearby, Kite Lake is a nearby lake. Through the warmest time of the year here at Eldorado Lake, high temperatures regularly get into the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures descend       down into the 40's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's, and night lows during the winter for Eldorado Lake tend to be in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Mineral Creek - South near Eldorado Lake, and a quick journey to Nebo Creek is without doubt a great idea. On a great day at Eldorado Lake you can take a hike along the Deer Park Trail; you can never get enough of the great skiing at Silverton. If you                  adore the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Eldorado Lake. Silver Summit RV Park And Jeep Rentals is a great campground nearby, and fine skiing awaits you at Kendall Mountain. And that's not all there is to do here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. A tremendous close by hotel is Best Western Twin Peaks Lodge & Hot Springs, and close by you come across Hunchback Pass which is a tremendous site to explore. From Eldorado Lake you obtain a nice sight of Hunchback Mountain, and if you get bored of Eldorado Lake you could also explore close by Vallecito Lake. Eldorado Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. So many entertaining things to do here at Eldorado Lake, too nice to be true. Just can't get enough of the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Get your pulse rate up on the tremendous whitewater of Vallecito Creek; while you're here you can take a hike along the Whitehead Trail.
