What a nice lake Lake Eileen is. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Vallecito Campground is a tremendous site to camp; whitewater paddling is glorious on Canyon Creek. Having a fine time at Lake Eileen is uncomplicated. You're sure to run into some great folks from Durango here, and hiking along the Whitehead Trail is brilliant fun. Silverton is a very popular ski area close at hand.

| | always beautiful. Summer at Lake Eileen comes with high temperatures in the 70's; the night is rather cooler of course, mostly in the 40's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the wintertime for Lake Eileen tend to be in the 0's. Take a hike on the Pine-Piedra Stock Driveway; in case you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Vallecito Creek.

things truly is abundant here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Why not camp at Blue Spruce Trailer Park while you're here at Lake Eileen, and after a long day outdoors Tamarron Resort is a great spot to spend a night or two. There's
no way anybody can get bored here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Looking for some flowing water? Try D Creek, and West Mountain can be seen from Lake Eileen. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Deer Park Trail
will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood, and do have a look at Vallecito Reservoir, it's a scenic lake.
It is very dried up here at Lake Eileen frequently; August is the wettest month with most rain, and the
driest month is June. Dry warm beds await you at Lodge at Tamarron; you have to without doubt dedicate some time to Freeman Park since you're here at Lake Eileen.
