In Colorado there are many beautiful lakes, Eggleston Lake is one of them. Go for a hike on the Crag Crest Trail, and Barren Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop at. Eggleston Lake is generally a reasonably arid place; of all the months in a year October is the one with the most rain, and January on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Lily Lake Trail, and Kiser Creek Campground is a nice local campground.
