Colorado has many beautiful lakes and Lake Edward is one of them. Be careful coming to the Park Range, you might not ever wanna go back home again. Whitewater paddling is fine on Elk River, and you're most likely addicted to lakes, Lake Margaret is one of those close by. Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Howelsen Hill, and Lake Edward is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Summit Lake Campground is a perfect local campground. That right there is

| | loads of entertaining things already but it goes on, the Park Range has it all. There's so much to do here at Lake Edward that you need to camp here for a while, Dry Lake Campground is a great place for that, and Lake Edward is right by the Big Creek Lake Trail.

This lake is so wonderful. Village at Steamboat is a perfect site to get some rest, and why not take a little tour to East Branch South Fork
Mad Creek if you're here. If you need a spot to stay Western Lodge is a splendid choice, and get covered with water paddling on Elk River. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Lake Edward. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures
plunge down into the 40's. Throughout the winter the highs are commonly in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the-10's for Lake Edward.
Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do near Lake Edward. Take a hike on the Swamp Park Trail,
and skiing at Steamboat is one of those things you just should do. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is lovely, you acquire a brilliant panorama of Horse Thief Peak from Lake Edward, and why not take a refreshing hike along
the Luna Lake Trail. It is very dehydrated here at Lake Edward frequently; the month of December is the wettest with most of the snow, and August meanwhile is the driest month.
