So many exciting things to do in the Park Range, not enough time. If you need a spot to stay Village at Steamboat is a great choice, and a great location to camp here at Lake Edward is Dry Lake Campground. Having a brilliant time at Lake Edward is simple. Don't forget to take a great little trip to East Branch South Fork Mad Creek, and don’t forget to pop by Horse Thief Park since you're here at Lake Edward.

A day on the slopes of Steamboat is just what you need, and why not camp at Summit Lake Campground since you're here at Lake Edward. This lake is so wonderful. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Howelsen Hill is next to Lake Edward, and going for a hike along the Big Creek Lake Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity.

you don’t get a lot of rainfall; through December this area sees the most snow while August is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There are other spots here than Lake Edward, for example Lake Margaret, and if the weather
is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Swamp Park Trail. Through the summertime months highs here at Lake Edward reach the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 40's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with
temperatures at Lake Edward dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights.
This site, the Park Range, has so much outdoors amusing things. After a long day outdoors Western Lodge is a splendid spot to spend a night or two,
and paddling on Elk River is so much fun. This lake is so wonderful. Have a delightful hiking adventure along the Luna Lake Trail, and the view of Horse Thief Peak is scenic. Whitewater paddling is glorious on Elk River, and not far from Lake Edward you'll come across Lake Margaret which is a beautiful lake.
