The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Edges Lake       overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Hurt Reservoir since you're here at Edges Lake; it's close by; Edges Lake is right by the Cache Creek Access Trail. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! Edges Lake rules! If you need a location to stay Comfort Inn Vail Valley is a nice choice, and Piney River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby. If you're popping by Edges                  Lake from Edwards, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. In the event that you don't mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Colorado River, and hiking along the Salt Creek Trail is splendid fun. There's so much to do here at Edges Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Sylvan Lake is a wonderful place for that It's always magnificent to pop by Little Dutton Spring. It is very waterless here at Edges Lake regularly; most of the rain falls through July, and the driest of the months is February.
