Hiking along the Indian Point Trail is brilliant fun. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Edds Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Jumbo Reservoir Campground. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Escalante Creek, and you can have a nice hiking adventure along the Whitewater Basin Trail. Edds Reservoir       is frequently a reasonably waterless location; the month with most of the rain is October, and January is the month with the least moisture. What a place this is for outdoors people. Take a hike on the Spring Camp Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sundance. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Kannah Creek offers some splendid whitewater. There's so much to do here at Edds Reservoir that you need to camp here for a                  while, Glacier Spring Campground is a great site for that. You'll discover a striking lake called County Line Reservoir near Edds Reservoir; during your visit here you'll meet some people from Grand Junction for sure. Powderhorn is a very popular ski area close at hand, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Delta is a good location to spend a night or two. At Edds Reservoir throughout the summertime highs are in the 90's. Summer night lows dip down to the 60's.
