This lake is so wonderful. You're sure to run into some fine folks from Denver-Aurora here, and why not camp at South Park Lodge and RV Park while you're here at East Reservoir. Glide down the rapids of Bear Creek in a kayak; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore close by Main Reservoir.       East Reservoir is a location that is relatively dry mostly; May is the wettest month with most rain; the driest month of the year is January. Throughout the summertime at East Reservoir temperatures are mostly in the 80's while overnight lows are commonly in the 50's. For the duration of the winter the highs are usually in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 10's for East Reservoir. But wait, there's more to do near East Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.                  The Bear Peak Trail is a good hiking trail right next door to East Reservoir; a golf course close by is Bear Creek Golf Club. Not far from East Reservoir, you'll stumble on Main Reservoir which is a wonderful lake, and if you need a spot to stay Oakwood at Retreat at Fox Hollow is a wonderful choice. On a delightful day at East Reservoir you can take a hike along the Mesa Trail, and some nearby water includes Weaver Creek. Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument is a very glorious location to go to in the neighborhood of East Reservoir, and a fine close by hotel is Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center. This place, East Reservoir, it definitely has so much outdoors cool stuff.
