Snowy Range is a brilliant local ski area. There's so much to do here at East Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Hooligan Roost Campground is a fine place for that. Summertime highs at East Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 30's while East Lake nighttime low temperatures       throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. Not much rain falls here at East Lake; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. East Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Pfister Draw is a perfect spot to spend some time at, and there are glorious places to discover along the Medicine Bow Trail. This lake is so wonderful. East Lake is close to Little                  Hohnholtz Dam which is a pretty location without doubt worth stopping at, and let's not forget Forrester Creek which is a stream that you may run into while here. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the Medicine Bow Mountains has to offer. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by nearby Johnson Reservoir; get yourself into a kayak and hit Laramie River. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Hohnholz Lakes Campground, and going for a hike on the McIntyre Trail is always a good adventure. There are some great whitewater spots on Cache La Poudre River. Lakes are splendid; Little Hohnholz Lake is a lake that's next to East Lake. Whohoo, so much entertaining stuff in one place! The Medicine Bow Mountains is excellent!
