If you are in Larimer county it's always a good idea to stop by East Lake. East Lake is a beautiful lake in the Medicine Bow Mountains. If you go for the outdoors you'll go for it here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Paddling on Laramie River is so much fun, and camping is available at Hohnholz Lakes Campground. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Snowy Range while you're here.

From East Lake you get a glorious view of Crazy Mountain, and you don’t have to go far from East Lake to make out the water at Little Hohnholtz Dam. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at East Lake. Pfister Draw is a pleasant site to spend some time at, and if the weather is nice, you can go for a hike along the Pache Trail. For the period of
the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 70's at East Lake. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the winter at East Lake
temperatures plunge to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A delightful lake like Johnson Reservoir in close proximity to East Lake is a tremendous place to take a look at; as expected Forrester Creek flows through this vicinity.
East Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up usually; the wettest month of the year is generally July, that's the one that rains the most while February is frequently the driest month.
