    It's always fun to stop by East Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Cache La Poudre River for all you adrenaline junkies, and lakes are such calm locations, why not stop at Little Hohnholz Lake. Forrester Creek flows through this area; if the weather is pleasant, you can go for a hike along the Pache Trail.
These mountains rock, just look at all the amusing stuff to do in the Medicine Bow Mountains. Why not camp at Hooligan Roost Campground
 
   while you're here at East Lake; on a delightful day you can take a hike along the McIntyre Trail. East Lake is commonly a reasonably dried up spot; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is February. So much cool stuff to do here at East Lake, too brilliant to be true. Pfister Draw is near East Lake and is a fine place, and there is a fine hiking trail close by called the Medicine Bow Trail.
During the summertime highs here at East
 
               Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's with temperatures at East Lake dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. East Lake is one of the lakes here in the Medicine Bow Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. The summit of Crazy Mountain can be made out from East Lake, and you'll stumble on a scenic lake called Johnson Reservoir.
If you want a pleasant time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Medicine Bow Mountains. Why not take a look at Little Hohnholtz Dam while you're here, and the skiing at Snowy Range is delightful. A great place to camp here at East Lake is Hohnholz Lakes Campground, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Laramie River.
