If you need a site to stay The Pines Lodge is a perfect choice; why not take a refreshing hike along the Ironedge Trail. It is very dry here at Eagle Lake ordinarily; the month with most of the rain is July; February on the other hand is the driest. You just have to love the Sawatch Range. If you came for an overnight stay Elk Wallow Campground is a good site to camp; great skiing awaits you at Vail. A scenic lake like Mystic       Island Lake next to Eagle Lake is a pleasant location to explore. This lake is so wonderful. The Last Chance Trail offers hiking at its best, and on a beautiful day you get a tremendous sight of Avalanche Peak from Eagle Lake. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great globe it would be. Skiing at Beaver Creek is one of those things you just ought to do; there's splendid hiking along the Lake Charles Trail. Eagle Lake is a                  beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Eagle Lake, high temperatures usually get into the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 30's with temperatures at Eagle Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Lakes are such serene places, why not visit Halfmoon Lake next to Eagle Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Eagle River. Man, is there a heap of entertaining things to do in the Sawatch Range. Fulford Cave Campground is a wonderful campground nearby, and get wet paddling on Fryingpan River.
