Lakes are great; Toponas Rock Reservoir Number 2 is a lake that's near E M Curry Reservoir. On a tremendous day at E M Curry Reservoir you can take a hike along the Muddy Slide Trail, and a pleasant spot for whitewater paddling is Rock Creek. There is a splendid hiking trail close to E M Curry Reservoir called the Tepee Creek Trail. E M Curry Reservoir gets very little precipitation; through       the month of July you get the most rain around here; the driest month of the year is February. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at E M Curry Reservoir. Gotta ski! Howelsen Hill is a brilliant place to do that, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Tonier Gulch Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. The Morrison Divide Trail is a tremendous hiking trail near E M Curry Reservoir,                  and a great nearby hotel is Sunburst Condominiums (Vri). At E M Curry Reservoir throughout the summertime highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 40's. For the duration of the winter highs are in the 30's while E M Curry Reservoir night low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. In case you don’t mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Piney River. There's so much to do here at E M Curry Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Toponas Creek Campground is a nice site for that. Everybody nearby loves skiing at Steamboat; Toponas Rock is an exciting location to go to while at E M Curry Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
