Dunnagan Reservoir is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a place to stay Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a nice choice, and playing golf is lots of fun at Pagosa Springs Golf Club. So much fun stuff in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, just impressive. Perry Draw is next to Dunnagan Reservoir and is absolutely a brilliant place to pop by; San Juan River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby.

Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining things in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Wolf Creek while you're here, and a great sight of scenic The Ant Hill is available. while you're here at Dunnagan Reservoir. Lakes? Sure, Park Reservoir is nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Martinez Creek Trail, and Dunnagan Dam is a beautiful place, beyond doubt worth checking
out. Don't leave Dunnagan Reservoir without first going for a hike along the Piedra Stock Trail; a great place to camp here at Dunnagan Reservoir is Turkey Springs Campground. Throughout the long summer days at Dunnagan Reservoir
highs are regularly in the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 30's. Daytime highs all through the wintertime are in the 20's while Dunnagan Reservoir overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the-10's.
But wait, there's more to do near Dunnagan Reservoir. Paddling on San Juan River is so much fun, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always go to nearby Perino Reservoir. Dunnagan Reservoir is one of the lakes
here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. Dunnagan Reservoir is pretty dried up ordinarily; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest of the months is June.
