Dunnagan Reservoir gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is typically July, that's the one that rains the most, and June on the other hand is the driest. Be careful coming to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains, you might not ever want to go back home again. While you're here at Dunnagan Reservoir you can play some golf at Pagosa Springs Golf Club, and going for a hike on the Piedra Stock Trail is always a tremendous adventure. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Wolf Creek has nice slopes and a friendly staff, and the scenery at Dunnagan Dam is pretty. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Dunnagan Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Turkey Springs Campground; you're in all probability addicted to lakes, Perino Reservoir is one of those nearby. Juan River is a delightful whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Dunnagan Reservoir, and one of the principal highlights of the surroundings of Dunnagan Reservoir is The Ant Hill. During the summertime here at Dunnagan Reservoir,
high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the overnight is rather cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's; through the dark hours in the winter at Dunnagan
Reservoir temperatures plunge to the-10's. In case you don’t have a problem getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on San Juan River; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Fourmile Stock Trail.
Perry Draw is a wonderful place to explore, and after a long day outdoors Fairfield Pagosa Resort is a good place to spend a night or two. Yeah, come up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a great time. Dry warm beds
await you at Keyah Grande Resort, and you can go for a hike on the Martinez Creek Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dunnagan Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Upper Piedra Campground is
a delightful location for that, and of course, this is a nice neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Park Reservoir is a lake in the vicinity. Dunnagan Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains.
