Not much rain falls here at Dunham Number Three Reservoir; during the month of October you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is June. Paddling on Dolores River is so much fun, and you can go for a hike on the McPhee Stock Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Outpost Motel is a delightful site to spend a night or two, and       Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park is a brilliant campground here. Dunham Spring is always fun to check out, and if you're here, you could go to Beaver Creek. Summertime highs at Dunham Number Three Reservoir typically tend to be in the 80's while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's with temperatures at Dunham Number Three Reservoir dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.                  McPhee Dam is a spot that is near Dunham Number Three Reservoir, and a splendid place to have a look at close by is Dry Canyon. Do take a look at Dunham Number Two Reservoir near Dunham Number Three Reservoir, it's a delightful lake, and Historic Rio Grande Southern is a magnificent site to get some rest. A visit to Hovenweep National Monument is worthwhile; fine hiking is available along the Stoner Stock Trail. Life's too short to enjoy all the amusing things near Dunham Number Three Reservoir.
