There are some wonderful whitewater spots on Green River; do take a hike on the Jones Hole Trail. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Dudley Pond. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while the cold winter nights at Dudley Pond are in the 10's. Dudley Pond is generally a reasonably dehydrated place; through the month of May you get the most rain around here while January is the month with

| | the least amount of precipitation. Hiking along the Hoy Trail is wonderful fun, and not far from Dudley Pond you'll locate Stuntz Reservoir which is a scenic lake.
This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do next to Dudley Pond. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Red Rock Reservoir. Campground is a fine spot for that. A good nearby hotel is Blue Mountain Inn and Suites, and as expected, all our national parks are delightful places to pop by and Dinosaur National Monument is no exception.
This lake is so wonderful.
Get yourself into a kayak and hit Jones Hole Creek, and a visit to Surveyor Spring will fill your spirit with brilliant feelings. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Daniels Trail. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Dudley Pond has to offer, you can camp at Rainbow Park Campground.
