A glorious site to       camp here at Dry Mesa Reservoir Number 2 is Smokehouse Campground, and the snow is wonderful at Powderhorn. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Kannah Creek; do put some time aside to spend at Caps Spring if you're here at Dry Mesa Reservoir Number 2. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Drift down the rapids of Escalante Creek in a kayak, and if you need a location to stay Best Western Sundance is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. Lakes                  are such calm places, why not have a look at Shortcut Reservoir next to Dry Mesa Reservoir Number 2, and you can go for a hike on the Gunnison Trail.
