It is very arid here at Dry Lakes ordinarily; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and the                  driest month is January. Have a great hiking adventure along the Huerfano Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Inn of the Rio Grande Hotel and Conference Ctr. Alamosa-Days Inn is a nice place to get some rest.
