So much amusing stuff to do at Dry Lake, so little time. Go for a hike on the Rough Creek Trail; if you need a location to stay The Water Wheel Inn is a good choice. During the summertime months highs here at Dry Lake get into the 70's, and the night is slightly colder of course, typically in the 40's. Throughout the winter highs are ordinarily in the 30's; nighttime lows at Dry Lake all through the wintertime typically drop       into the-10's. It is very dried out here at Dry Lake frequently; through the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Bowers Lakes is a nearby lake that you could explore, and Cebolla Campground is a fine campground nearby. There's some flowing water nearby, Mineral Creek is a stream you can stop at during your stay, and if you get bored of Dry Lake you could also check out close by Hidden                  Lake. Dry Lake is one of the lakes here in the San Juan and Jemez Mountains. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining things the San Juan and Jemez Mountains has to offer. Don't leave Dry Lake without first going for a hike along the Cebolla Trail. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! The San Juan and Jemez Mountains is unbeatable! Stay the night at Spruce Campground, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Rio Grande.
