Dry Lake is a reasonably wet place typically with lots of rain; March is when you get the most snow here; the driest of the months is June. This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Spectacle Lake Campground is a wonderful place to camp; soar down the rapids of Rio de los Pinos in a kayak. Camping is available at Ponderosa Campground, and the Conejos Stock Driveway offers hiking at its best. Yeah, come       up here to the San Juan and Jemez Mountains for a great time. Branding Iron Motel is a nice spot to get some rest, and do take a hike on the Posos Trail. The San Juan and Jemez Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Paddling on Conejos River is so much fun, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Spruce Hole Trail. What a location this is for outdoors people. At Dry Lake through the warmest time of the year highs are in the 60's, and the nighttime is a                  tad chillier of course, regularly in the 40's.
