There's so much to do here at Dry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ponderosa Campground is a tremendous spot for that, and do take a hike on the Conejos Stock Driveway. Have a nice hiking adventure along the Posos Trail, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Beaver Lake. In the event that you don’t have a problem       getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rio de los Pinos; hiking along the Spruce Hole Trail is splendid fun. Dry Lake is a rather wet place generally with lots of precipitation; all through the month of March you get the most snow around here; the driest month is June. High temperatures at Dry Lake throughout the warm months are in the 60's. Summer night lows drop down to the 40's.
