Beautiful Dry Lake has much to offer visitors. Dry Lake is one of the lakes here in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dry Lake; Round Hill Trail is a magnificent local trail. There's so much to do here at Dry Lake that you need to camp here for a while, O Haver Lake Campground is a glorious site for that. There are some nice whitewater spots on Arkansas River; a tremendous nearby hotel is Holiday Inn Express Salida,

Around Dry Lake you don’t get a lot of rainfall; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. Man, is there plenty of cool things to do in the Sawatch Range. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Simmons Peak Trail, and Dry Lake Gulch is a great spot to explore. Good hiking is available along the Sheep Mountain Trail, and Aspen Leaf Lodge is a wonderful location to get some rest.

Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a tremendous time here at Dry Lake. If you came to camp Heart Of The Rockies is a wonderful spot to do that, and a lake close by is Lake O'Haver. The warmest time of the year brings highs in
the 80's to Dry Lake with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and nighttime lows during the winter for Dry Lake tend to be in the 0's. You completely must like the Sawatch Range. Do visit O Haver
Lake Dam while you're here at Dry Lake, and needless to say Droz Creek flows through this neighborhood.
This lake is so wonderful. Monarch is a very popular ski area nearby.
