Go to Dry Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. Life's too short to enjoy all the fun stuff in the vicinity of Dry Lake. Camping at Monarch Spur RV Park is always a glorious experience, and dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Salida, Co. It is very arid here at Dry Lake ordinarily; during August this area sees the most rain; January is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is fine on Arkansas River. Lakes are glorious;

| | O'Haver Lake is a lake that's right next door to Dry Lake.
All the outdoors enjoyable things in the Sawatch Range will keep you coming back over and over. If you came to camp O Haver Lake Campground is a splendid place to do that, and if you need a place to stay Aspen Leaf Lodge is a great choice. Dry Lake is a beautiful lake in the Sawatch Range.

you're here at Dry Lake. All through the warmest time of the year highs here at Dry Lake get into the 80's, and all through the night it cools down to the 40's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Dry
Lake through the winter commonly drop into the 0's. Don't leave Dry Lake without first going for a hike along the Round Hill Trail, and not far from Dry Lake you'll find Lake O'Haver which is a gorgeous lake.
Go for a hike on
the Sheep Mountain Trail; you can hit the slopes at Monarch around here. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Sawatch Range. Near Dry Lake you stumble on glorious spots like Dry Lake Gulch, and O Haver Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing thing to check out.
