Douglas Reservoir is a location that is quite dried up ordinarily; most of the rain falls during May, and February is the month with the least moisture. Douglas Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Front Range. Through the warm months highs here at Douglas Reservoir get into the 80's with night lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 40's while Douglas Reservoir                  nighttime low temperatures during the winter are in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Wintersteen Trail, and you'll come across a lovely lake called Douglass Lake Reservoir Number 10. Get dripping wet paddling on Cache La Poudre River, also Douglas Dam is worth a visit while you're here. This lake is so wonderful.
