Go for a hike on the Point Trail. There's wonderful hiking along the Indian Point Trail, and there's always Dugger Dam to have a look at near Doughspoon Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Good hiking is available along the Point Camp Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Sundance. Doughspoon Reservoir is a location that is reasonably dry       typically; October is when you get the most rain here, and the driest month is January. For the duration of the long summer days at Doughspoon Reservoir highs are ordinarily in the 90's, and during the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows through the winter for Doughspoon Reservoir tend to be in the 10's.
