You absolutely ought to go for the Front Range. There are great spots to explore along the Hidden Valley Trail, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Cache La Poudre River. Man, is there a heap of amusing things to do in the       Front Range. Going for a hike on the Tonahutu Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and on a gorgeous day you obtain a great view of Chief Cheley Peak from Doughnut Lake. It is very dried out here at Doughnut Lake mostly; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; November on the other hand is the driest. Don't leave Doughnut Lake without first going for a hike along the Timber Creek Trail, and dry warm beds await you at Inn At Grand                  Lake, The. The winter brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Doughnut Lake. If you haven’t been to Rocky Mountain National Park, you should schedule some time for it if you're here; if you need a place to stay The Inn at Grand Lake is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Joe Wright Creek for all you adrenaline people; Hayden Spire is a perfect site to stop by while in the area. This is no spot for people who don’t like to have fun.
