    Many people like to go to Dorsey Lake. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. A pleasant place for whitewater paddling near Dorsey Lake is Saint Vrain Creek - North, of course you could also explore Cascade Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. This is no place for people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Why not spend some time golfing at a close by golf course like Estes Valley Recreation District Estes Park Golf Club.
The Lily Mountain
 
   Trail is a wonderful hiking trail in close proximity to Dorsey Lake; East Portal is stunning. Dorsey Lake is pretty arid mostly; August is the month that gets the most rain while November is the month with the least amount of precipitation. All through the warm days of summer highs here at Dorsey Lake reach the 70's, and the night is a little cooler of course, regularly in the 30's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 30's; after the sun is down throughout the  
               winter temperatures at Dorsey Lake plunge into the 0's.
If you need a place to stay Inn on Fall River is a delightful choice, and there is a great hiking trail close by called the Storm Pass Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Dorsey Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Paradise RV and Travel Park is a nice site for that, and going for a hike on the Deer Mountain Trail is always a fine adventure. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Front Range. Don't miss out on a visit to Rocky Mountain National Park if you're here at Dorsey Lake, and you should certainly dedicate some time to Tuxedo Park while you're here at Dorsey Lake.
Yep, outdoors amusing stuff truly is abundant here in the Front Range. Don't forget to take a splendid little visit to Aspen Brook, and at Dorsey Lake you can spot Eagle Cliff Mountain. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Saint Vrain Creek - South, and a cool spot to stop by is Teddys Teeth. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Dorsey Lake has it all. Dry warm beds await you at Alpine Trail Ridge Inn. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Dorsey Lake has to offer, you can camp at Estes Park Campground.
