Dry warm beds await you at Beaver Village Condominiums. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Lake Dorothy has to offer, you can camp at Fourth of July Campground. If only every place had this much outdoors amusing things, what a great earth it would be. Get dripping wet paddling on Boulder Creek; Devils Thumb is an attention-grabbing place to check out while at Lake Dorothy. The Devils Thumb Trail offers hiking at its best; the vista of Mount Jasper is delightful. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.

Really good skiing awaits you at Berthoud Pass; if you need a place to stay Iron Horse Resort is a great choice. Winter Park has perfect slopes and a friendly staff, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Lake Dorothy; Arapaho
Pass Trail is a glorious local trail.
This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Lake Dorothy it's a pleasant idea to have a look at Coyote Park, and lakes are such calm places, why not explore Bowles Reservoir Number 2.
And that's not everything you can do here in the Front Range. Drift down the rapids of Fraser River in a kayak; there's great hiking along the Columbine Lake Trail. At Lake Dorothy you don’t see much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is August; February on the other hand is the driest.
