Why not stop by Lake Dorothy if you're passing through these parts. So much amusing stuff to do in the Front Range, not enough time. A great close by hotel is Beaver Village Condominiums; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Columbine Lake Trail. A lake close by is Betty Lake, and Sawmill Station is a magnificent location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Arapaho Pass Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty

| | of this neighborhood, and you can run the rapids of Fraser River.
It is very dried up here at Lake Dorothy usually; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is February. What would winter be without some skiing at Winter Park, and Lake Dorothy is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Fourth of July Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. Lake Dorothy is too splendid to miss, and while you're here at Lake Dorothy, checking out Devils Thumb is a must.
Summertime highs at Lake Dorothy mostly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's.
The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Lake Dorothy. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors exciting things the area near Lake Dorothy has to offer. If the weather
is tremendous here at Lake Dorothy, you can go for a hike along the Devils Thumb Trail, and Mount Jasper is trouble-free to spot from Lake Dorothy. The Front Range scenery is always beautiful.
And that's not all you can do here
at Lake Dorothy. Get your heart pumping on the pleasant whitewater of Boulder Creek. There's no way anybody can get bored here in the Front Range. Stay the night at Buckingham Campground, and Devils Thumb Lake is a nearby lake that
you could visit. A tour to Arapaho Pass is always fun, and the slopes of Berthoud Pass are so inviting noone can resist.
