This lake is so wonderful. Piper Meadows is a tremendous location to stretch your legs a bit. Lakes? Sure, Gem Lake is in the neighborhood. That right there is loads of amusing stuff already but it goes on, the Front Range has it all. Why not camp at K O A Kampgrounds while you're here at Donath Lake, and close by you come across wonderful locations       like Devils Gulch. This lake is located in the wonderful Front Range. Donath Lake gets very little precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout July, and the driest month of the year is December. If you need a spot to stay Rodeway Inn Estes Park is a tremendous choice, and get drenched paddling on Big Thompson River. You'll in fact wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun stuff in the Front Range. Rocky Mountain National Park is a perfect                  national park, and hiking along the Donner Hill Trail is nice fun. Seven Pines Campground and Cabin is a nice local campground; there are other places here than Donath Lake, for example Lake Estes. This lake is so wonderful. Why not stop at close by Cow Creek if you're here at Donath Lake; Donath Lake is right by the Indian Trail. So much fun stuff in the vicinity of Donath Lake, truly mind-boggling. People from Fort Collins-Loveland love to come to Donath Lake. For the period of the warmest time of the year highs here at Donath Lake reach the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 40's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Donath Lake night low temperatures all through the wintertime are in the 0's. Having a glorious time at Donath Lake is uncomplicated.
