If you need a location to stay National 9 Inn Sand Canyon is a magnificent choice. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Don Smith Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Dolores River RV Park. You're probably interested in lakes, Beef Trail Reservoir is one of those nearby, and on a glorious day you can take a hike along the McPhee Stock Trail. If you come at       the right time of year, Dolores River offers some tremendous whitewater; Don Smith Reservoir is a wonderful site to camp, Mc Phee Mobile Home and RV Park is a wonderful site. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Don Smith Reservoir. Near Draw is a brilliant place to spend some time at, and Glade Mountain is a peak you can catch a sight of from Don Smith Reservoir. While you're here at Don Smith Reservoir you can take                  a hike along the Ormiston Point Stock Driveway, and glide down the rapids of Dolores River in a kayak. Bradfield Spring is a beautiful site to stop at while you're at Don Smith Reservoir, and there is a nice hiking trail nearby called the Stoner Stock Trail. At Don Smith Reservoir during the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. During the winter highs are usually in the 30's, and night lows at Don Smith Reservoir through the wintertime usually drop into the 10's. Don Smith Reservoir gets very little rainfall; October is the wettest month with most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful.
