Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this spot. Burro Mesa can be distinguished from Dominguez Lake, and if you need a location to stay Budget Host Raton is a nice choice. Be careful coming to the Sangre De Cristo Mountains, you might not ever wanna return back home again. Do pay a visit to Capulin Volcano National Monument while you're here at Dominguez Lake. The Sangre De Cristo Mountains scenery is always beautiful.

This lake is so wonderful. A pleasant tour to Messer Flat
is a delightful way to spend an afternoon, and you could always explore San Francisco Pass. Dominguez Lake gets very little rain; through August this area sees the most rain; the driest month is January. Dominguez Lake is great enough
