If you are in this part of Colorado make sure to pay a visit to Dome Lake. This location is peerless, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do next to Dome Lake. The Park Range is a major mark of the vicinity around Dome Lake, and the best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Steamboat. Why not camp at Summit Lake Campground if you're here at Dome Lake, and close by you find the Wyoming Trail which is a great hiking trail.

| | stuff to do at Dome Lake, so little time. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Elk River; The Dome is clearly visible from Dome Lake. The snow is great at Howelsen Hill, and there are splendid locations to look at along the North Lake Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range.

Creek is a perfect local stream. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Wolverine Basin, and after a long day outdoors Western Lodge is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. So many fun things to do here in the Park Range,
too great to be true. If you need a place to stay Thunderhead Lodge And Condominiums is a wonderful choice; if you came for an overnight stay Hinman Campground is a delightful site to camp.
All year is a pleasant time in the Park
Range if you like the outdoors. Get your heart beating on the great whitewater of Elk River, and going for a hike on the Crags Trail is always a good adventure. At Dome Lake you don’t see much rain; the wettest month of the year is
regularly December, that's the one that snows the most, and August on the other hand is the driest. During the summertime months, highs typically are in the 80's at Dome Lake while overnight lows are commonly in the 40's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 20's; nighttime lows in the-10's for Dome Lake.
