This is a great region for people who like lakes. Hurt Reservoir is a lake in the neighborhood, and Hurt Dam is a delightful location, absolutely worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Red Canyon Stock Driveway; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always check out nearby Edges Lake. At Domantle Lake throughout the summer months highs are in the 70's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. For the

| | period of the winter this place gets highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Domantle Lake. If you need a site to stay SilverLeaf Suites of Eagle is a good choice, and a trip to Deadhorse Spring will fill your spirit with fine feelings.
You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Domantle Lake. A great close by hotel is Best Western Eagle Lodge, and you can stay the night at Shoe and Stocking Campground. Coberly | |

Gap is a good place to spend some time at; Sylvan Lake is a wonderful campground nearby. You can run the rapids of Colorado River close to Domantle Lake, and Domantle Lake is a place with many visitors from Edwards.
This lake
is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Cache Creek Access Trail is always a delightful adventure, and a great location for whitewater paddling is Piney River. Around Domantle Lake you don’t get a lot of rain; of all the months in
a year July is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Good hiking is available along the Salt Creek Trail.
