The beauty of Dollar Lake is reason enough to stop by. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Dollar Lake rules!. The Whitehead Trail is a perfect hiking trail near Dollar Lake, and if you came to camp Transfer Park Campground is a splendid site to do that. Lime Mesa is a peak you can catch a glimpse of from Dollar Lake, and there is a wonderful hiking trail close by called the Deer Park Trail.

Around Dollar Lake you don’t get a lot of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain; June meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Grimes Creek Resort is a splendid choice; picturesque scenery and pleasant skiing is what you acquire at Kendall Mountain.

entertaining things in the San Juan Mountains. Lakes are such peaceful spots, why not go to Pear Lake close to Dollar Lake, and going for a hike on the Highline Trail is always a perfect adventure. All through the warm months, highs
regularly are in the 70's at Dollar Lake with nighttime lows in the 40's. Through the winter the highs are typically in the 30's while Dollar Lake overnight low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 0's. And if you're
still looking for more outdoors exciting stuff just keep reading. Paddling on Animas River is so much fun, and West Virginia Gulch is another good location to stop at close by.
This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do
here at Dollar Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bear Creek Campground is a glorious place for that, and Wits End is a delightful location to get some rest. This lake is one of the great places here in the San Juan Mountains.
Overlook Point is a good location to stop at while in the area, and hey, Gotta ski right? Silverton is a wonderful place to do that.
