     Glide down the rapids of Cimarron River in a kayak; you can never get enough of the good skiing at Telluride. You could also take a look at Ridgway Reservoir if you're here at Doelz Reservoir; it's nearby; if you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Ouray is a splendid choice. Not much rain falls here at Doelz Reservoir; most of the rain falls during September while February is frequently the driest month.
So much amusing stuff to do here at Doelz Reservoir,
 
   too great to be true. Stay the night at Centennial RV Park, and after a long day outdoors Ouray Chalet Inn is a fine site to spend a night or two. So many cool things in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains, just extraordinary. Paddling on Uncompahgre River is so much fun, and nearby you hit upon the Blue Lakes Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Doelz Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Country Village RV  
               Ranch Park, and Alkali Creek is in the neighborhood of Doelz Reservoir and is always a diversion to have a look at.
Doelz Reservoir is located in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Really good skiing awaits you at Silverton, and since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at Fairway Pines Golf Club. For the duration of the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Doelz Reservoir, and the nighttime is slightly cooler of course, commonly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 30's, and nighttime lows at Doelz Reservoir throughout the winter usually dip into the 10's.
Life's too short to enjoy all the entertaining stuff in the Uncompahgre Plateau Mountains. Doelz Dam is not far at all from Doelz Reservoir, and there is a delightful hiking trail nearby called the Dallas Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, City Reservoir is in close proximity to Doelz Reservoir, and going for a hike on the Deer Creek Trail is always a brilliant adventure. Yeah, come here to Doelz Reservoir for a good time.
