Beautiful Divide Lakes has much to offer visitors. The San Juan Mountains scenery is always beautiful. Don't leave Divide Lakes without first going for a hike along the Fern Creek Stock Driveway, and Dog Rincon is a good location to explore. An average amount of rainfall falls at Divide Lakes; most of the rain falls all through August; June is the month with the least moisture. You can run the rapids of Rio Grande close to Divide Lakes, and there's magnificent hiking along the Middle Mountain Trail. Having a pleasant time in the San Juan Mountains is uncomplicated. Silverton is a very popular ski area in close proximity, and Thirtymile Campground is a wonderful campground here.
