Disappointment Lake is a lake worth visiting. You completely should go for the Park Range. Two Ledge Dam is not far at all from Disappointment Lake; pleasant hiking is available along the Arapaho Creek Trail. If you came to camp Wolford Campground is a fine location to do that, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Steamboat since you're here. These mountains rock, just explore all the cool things to do in the Park Range. Disappointment Lake

This lake is so wonderful. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do close to Disappointment Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Rock Creek Trail, and a lake close by is Arapaho Lakes. There's so much to do here at Disappointment Lake that you need to camp here for a while, | |

Never Summer Nordic is a great site for that, and from Disappointment Lake you acquire a good view of Red Hill.
Disappointment Lake gets very little rain; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on
the other hand is the driest. Disappointment Lake is one of the lakes here in the Park Range. Summertime highs at Disappointment Lake mostly tend to be in the 70's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down
into the 40's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Disappointment Lake temperatures fall to the 0's.
This lake is so wonderful. East Fork Arapaho Creek is in the neighborhood
of Disappointment Lake and is always a joy to take a look at; Bundy Park is a nice place to stretch your legs a bit.
