Lake Dinosaur is a lake worth visiting. And if that's not sufficient there's a load more entertaining stuff to do in the Park Range. Really splendid skiing awaits you at Steamboat, and Thunderhead Lodge And Condominiums is a glorious location to get some rest. Elk River is a wonderful whitewater spot close to Lake Dinosaur, and Lake Dinosaur is a nice place to camp, Granite Campground is a nice place. | | are usually in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 40's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Lake Dinosaur.

Lake Dinosaur is located in the Park Range. But wait, there's more to do close to Lake Dinosaur. If you're a golfer then a fine close by course
is Haymaker Golf Course, and you can have a magnificent hiking adventure along the Fish Creek Falls Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you yearn for a little side tour, try Buffalo Pass, and if you're here you can take a hike along
the Percy Lake Trail.
After a long day outdoors The Ranch At Steamboat is a brilliant spot to spend a night or two. Lakes? Sure, Fish Creek Reservoir is in the vicinity. Just can't get enough of the Park Range. Granite Creek flows through this region, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Divide Trail.
