Lake Dinosaur is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Granite Campground while you're here at Lake Dinosaur, and if you need a place to stay Scandinavian Lodge and Condominiums is a delightful choice. Man, is there heaps of fun things to do close to Lake Dinosaur. Near Lake Dinosaur you discover a golf course called Haymaker Golf Course; what would winter be without some skiing at Howelsen Hill. You'll find

| | a pretty lake called Fish Creek Reservoir near Lake Dinosaur, and hey, Gotta ski right? Steamboat is a great place to do that.
At Lake Dinosaur you don’t see much precipitation; most of the snow falls throughout December while August is usually the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Park Range. So much amusing stuff to do in the Park Range, not enough time. Buffalo Pass is in the vicinity of Lake Dinosaur and is a wonderful place; | |

there is a glorious hiking trail close by called the Divide Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Winterwood Townhomes, and there's some flowing water nearby, Granite Creek is a stream you can stop at while
here. There's whitewater on Elk River for all you adrenaline people. Summit Lake Campground is a great local campground, and if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Fish Creek Falls Trail.
There's no way somebody
can get bored here in the Park Range. Do stop by Long Lake Reservoir next to Lake Dinosaur, it's a gorgeous lake, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Percy Lake Trail. For the period of the warm days of summer at Lake
Dinosaur temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 40's. High temperatures during the wintertime are normally in the 20's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Lake Dinosaur.
