Hiking is a popular thing to do around Dines Lake; Oyster Lake Trail is a good local trail. Dines Lake gets very little rain; the wettest month of the year is ordinarily March, that's the one that snows the most, and June meanwhile is the driest month. There's so much to do here at Dines Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Bucks Campground is a great       place for that, and there are some magnificent whitewater spots on White River - North Fork.
