Why not stop by Dillon Reservoir if you're passing through these parts. This lake is located in the wonderful Park Range. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the cool things at Dillon Reservoir. Going for a hike on the Ptarmigan Trail is always a magnificent adventure; of course, this is a nice area for folks who like lakes, Blue River Ranch Lakes is a lake in close proximity. This lake is so wonderful.

| | is a great local ski area, and Sentinel Island Campground is a glorious local campground. If you fancy the outdoors you'll fancy it here in the Park Range. During your tour to Dillon Reservoir you'll meet some folks from Silverthorne for sure, and La Quinta Inn & Suites Silverthorne-Dillon is a glorious place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Dillon Reservoir. You're almost certainly hooked on lakes, Old Dillon Reservoir is one of those close by, and pleasant hiking is available along the Lily
Pad Lake Trail. This location, the Park Range, has so much outdoors enjoyable things. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Dillon is a good choice, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Tenmile Creek. Get wet paddling on Arkansas
River, and Blue River Arm is in the vicinity and always fine to visit.
Dillon Reservoir is pretty dried out frequently; the month with most of the rain is July, and February is when it's the driest. Lake Hill is scenic and can
be seen from Dillon Reservoir, and a quick visit to Meadow Creek is definitely a great idea. Near Dillon Reservoir you discover wonderful locations like Salt Lick Gulch; Heaton Campground is a great campground nearby.
You'll truly
wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable stuff in the Park Range. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Keystone is in the neighborhood of Dillon Reservoir; an afternoon playing golf at Keystone Resort Golf Course is
always a pleasure. During the summer months, highs typically are in the 70's at Dillon Reservoir with overnight lows in the 40's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's; overnight lows in the 0's for Dillon Reservoir.
