Diemer Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Any time is a tremendous time at Diemer Lake if you go for the outdoors. Do stop at Himmelland Dam since you're here at Diemer Lake. Diemer Lake is a location that is reasonably dried up usually; July is the wettest month with most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. So many exciting things to do here in the Sawatch Range, too delightful to be true. Really splendid skiing awaits

| | you at Aspen Highlands, and since you're here, you could also explore scenic Himmelland Reservoir. This spot is excellent, just check out all the enjoyable stuff to do near Diemer Lake. You can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Beaver Creek; there is a brilliant hiking trail close by called the Sawyer Lake Trail. Campground is a great local campground; whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then, we recommend Fryingpan River. If the weather is nice here at Diemer Lake, you can go for a hike along the Last Chance Trail,
and if you're visiting from Edwards, you won't be the only one. If you need a site to stay Hyatt Mountain Lodge is a brilliant choice; Sellar Park is a delightful place to stretch your legs a bit. On a wonderful day at Diemer Lake
you can take a hike along the Chapman Trail, and you'll discover a picturesque lake called Sellar Lake. Diemer Lake is located in the Sawatch Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not pop by close by Cunningham Creek if you're
here at Diemer Lake; get your heart pumping on the wonderful whitewater of Roaring Fork. All year is a brilliant time in the Sawatch Range if you have a thing about the outdoors. If you came to camp Elk Wallow Campground is a glorious
site to do that; after a long day outdoors The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is a good place to spend a night or two.

LEDE Reservoir
 | 13 miles away Beautiful drive up to Lede Reservoir. We started in Eagle and took Sylvan Lake road all the way past the lake and then took a right at the first intersection. After climbing up and around the peak in front of us we were upon some huge rolling meadows that were among the forrests. A slight drop down into the valley on the west side of the mountains and a left turn lead us to the reservoir. It is a great spot with some fishing paths around the water and a number of campsites as well. We continued west to Gypsum Creek Road and a short drive back to the town of Gypsum.... |
