You could also visit Sanchez Lakes since you're here at Lake Diana; it's close by; paddling on Encampment River is so much fun. The Park Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. Everybody loves Encampment Meadows. But wait, there's more cool things to do in the Park Range. Whitewater paddling is brilliant on Elk River, and if you came to camp Beaver Creek Campground is a perfect place to do that. Having a delightful       time in the Park Range is easy. On a pretty day you acquire a sight of Buck Mountain from Lake Diana, and you can go for a hike on the Main Fork Trail. If you fancy the outdoors, you'll adore Lake Diana. Lake Diana is not the only site nearby, Gem Lake is a nearby lake; dry warm beds await you at CrossTimbers at Steamboat. There are good places to look at along the Gem Lake Trail, and if you need a place to stay Village at Steamboat is a glorious choice.                  Don't leave Lake Diana without first going for a hike along the Mica Basin Trail; Lake Diana is delightful enough to spend more than a day at, Lakeside Campground is a delightful local campground. At Lake Diana you don’t see much rainfall; May is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. At Lake Diana throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 40's.
